Event Information : Long Distance
Day 2 – Saturday 15th April: NZ Long Distance Championship, Canaan Downs.
The terrain: A new map of open native forest and rolling farmland with large to very large depressions and rock formations. Unique and challenging terrain.
Scales/contours: Scales 1:15000 (courses 1 and 2), 1:10000 and 1:7500, with 5 metre contour intervals.

Location: At the top of the Takaka Hill, approximately 90 minutes from Nelson.

Age classes:
Competitors aged 20 or younger are eligible to run in each class up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the given age. They are entitled to compete in older classes up to and including 21.
Competitors aged 21 or older are eligible to run in each
class from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach the
designated age. They are entitled to compete in younger class down to
and including 21.
